Hunter Elliott

Design Engineer

Hunter brings curiosity and enthusiasm to structural engineering, grounded by a strong foundation in architectural engineering from Oregon State University. “My structural classes felt the most natural and intuitive. What excites me about engineering is getting to optimize designs prior to construction. There is nothing more satisfying than your design working perfectly as calculated.” His interest began at a young age. “I was always perplexed by the largest manmade objects in the world—skyscrapers most notably for being the tallest. Behind every single one is a structure designed down to the last bolt.” Outside of work, Hunter stays active through volleyball and rock climbing. He balances that energy by spending time with his two cats and playing video games.

“My pursuit of engineering represents my desire to be part of something larger than myself. My goal is to become the best engineer I can be by expanding my knowledge and taking on increasingly complex projects.”
