Set into the northwest corner of Yesler Terrace, adjacent to Harborview Medical Center, this new dialysis clinic and medical office building targets LEED Gold certification. The three-story clinic totals about 68,400 SF on the sloping site, including two levels of structured and underground parking comprising about 45 stalls. The clinic has 46 dialysis stations, nine home dialysis training rooms, and community education space. Patients and their families are able to access Northwest Kidney Centers’ first-in-the-nation kidney palliative care program at this location, as well as free classes supporting those impacted by chronic kidney disease.
Treatment areas showcase views of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay via the bands of glass around the building that channel natural light into the space. An off-street covered entryway streamlines patient dropoff and pickup, and an on-site garage offers secure parking for patients and staff.
