Garrett earned his degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming. He gained broad industry perspective through internships with general contracting firms, mechanical engineering, and structural engineering firms, giving him early exposure to disciplines that shape successful building projects. “My interest in structures was first piqued while playing Minecraft as a kid. Entering college, I knew that I wanted to be a part of the building engineering world. I have high attention to detail and a propensity to get into the weeds. Engineering is the culmination of these things, an opportunity to think about the big picture and every little detail.” When Garrett isn’t doing the math, he’s globetrotting—road trips, overseas destinations, and adventure travel.
