Becky Mitchell

BIM Tech III

Becky discovered her passion for BIM after a friend invited her to help with an overflow of drafting work. She taught herself Revit through countless hours of online tutorials and gained invaluable hands-on knowledge from a patient structural engineer who mentored her while they volunteered on Habitat for Humanity projects, teaching her how buildings come together from the ground up.

Today, Becky loves bringing projects to life through BIM. For her, it’s incredibly rewarding to see a project progress from a digital model to a completed structure that people can live, work, and gather in. Knowing that her work contributes to real buildings is what inspires her most.

“I love to point at a building and proudly say ‘I drew that.’ There is something so rewarding about having people live and walk around the work I did.”
