Project Categories: Healthcare | Integrated Delivery
2026

When building this large rural regional hospital, integrated process planning with not only the team, but also the community helped transform mission, vision and value into discernible healthcare success. The three-story, 173,000 SF, 50-bed replacement hospital is being constructed on a new site in Moses Lake, WA, and will include hospital services, ambulatory care, and office space. Dedicated teaching space and a planned health education partnership with WSU will also help Moses Lake Hospital play a part in developing the next generation of healthcare workers.

The PCS team explored innovative framing solutions to increase resilience for this project, resulting in the world’s first DuraFuse steel moment frame hospital. The project utilizes CM/GC alternate construction procurement process and Integrated Project Delivery, making excellent use of cross-team collaboration to deliver an exceptional medical facility for central Washington.
