Set in Kalama Harbor on the bank of the Columbia River, the Mountain Timber Market totals 31,000 SF and will include a restaurant with outdoor patio, office and conference room space, a public market with twelve vendor stalls, and a distillery. Cross-laminated timber is featured throughout the building’s structural system in the floors, roof and diaphragm along with steel and glulam beams. The two-story atrium showcases a suspended totem pole previously displayed in the nearby park.
